Don't miss The Continuing Adventures of Library Girl and Volunteer Boy! (QuickTime format, 16.8 MB) This eleven-minute sequel to the original Adventures of Library Girl and Volunteer Boy was created to thank our volunteers for all the work they do. Thank you, volunteers!
On Sunday, December 11, 2011, at 2:00 p.m., at Bennett Martin Public Library, 136 So. 14th Street, Lincoln, Neb., a panel of medical professionals from Lincoln will share their experience volunteering in medical mission projects abroad, including Africa, Haiti, and Mexico. Learn about the challenges and rewards of providing care in other cultures, and reflections on the ethics and practice of international aid. 
Teen Read Week is officially Oct. 16-22, but we're extending the celebration to the middle of November with these special upcoming events at Bennett Martin, Eiseley, and Walt Libraries!
